Cape Coral, FL – June 15, 2012 – Cape Coral realtors of Aubuchon Team of Companies welcome “Brenda Cole & Company” to their real estate team. “Brenda Cole & Company” is a husband and wife team, Brenda and Scoop Cole; however their team includes four other seasoned real estate agents: Ginger Cross, Claudia Hoh, Natalie Zabala, and Lesley Proud. They specialize in residential and commercial real estate, short sales, foreclosures, vacant land and new construction. Both Brenda and Scoop are certified specialists in short sales as well as foreclosures.

Scoop Cole was licensed as a Florida real estate agent in 1978, and was taught the art of real estate from his father Harmon, who opened Cole Realty Group in 1970 in Cape Coral. Scoop’s father was President of the Cape Coral Association of Realtors, & Realtor of the Year in 1975; the 1st father and son team to accomplish both! Brenda sold real estate in Columbus, OH and surrounding areas until 1984 when she moved to Cape Coral.

Once Scoop and Brenda joined forces, they quickly became one of the most well-known and successful realtor teams in Lee County. "We both had our Broker’s license, so we bought the then franchise of Realty World-Cole Realty Group.” Growth and success continued. When the opportunity arose, they purchased an office building at 1515 Cape Coral Parkway, which they still own today.

In 1989, Brenda and Scoop franchised with Prudential Real Estate. They were the first Prudential real estate affiliate in Southwest Florida, from 1989 through 2011.

The Coles have earned awards annually since the inception of “Brenda Cole & Company”. These include coveted industry awards such as the “Top 100 Nationwide”, “Legend”, and the “Chairman Circle” with Prudential Real Estate affiliates. In 1989, Brenda was awarded “Realtor of the Year” and Scoop, proudly following in his father’s footsteps, was President of the Cape Coral Realtor Association. Scoop was also awarded “Realtor of the Year” in 1992 & 1993.

Brenda and Scoop are thrilled to be working with the Aubuchon Team of Companies. After 16 years of occupying the office at 1515 Cape Coral Pkwy, “Brenda Cole & Company” is excited about their new location at 1811 Cape Coral Pkwy. Brenda is located in the “Miloff Aubuchon Real Estate Information Center”, next to the Cape Coral Chamber at the foot of the south bridge.

Scoop is located at their administrative office, 3727 C Del Prado Blvd. Scoop is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan and Brenda hails from Columbus, Ohio. Although their college teams were arch rivals, they now both proudly identify themselves as “Seminole” fans, as their youngest daughter is a student at Florida State University. Scoop and Brenda have 3 children, Tara, Greg, and Brooke. Tara owns Delta Family Counseling, where she works with children ages 2- 18 utilizing therapy dogs. Greg is in law school at Ave Maria. Brooke is studying communications and theater at Florida State University, and in her spare time, riding her horse, Pistol. When they are not busy selling real estate, Scoop pursues his hobbies of car racing and golfing, while Brenda enjoys walking the beach, yoga, and boating.
