Mallory Huether was born in Leesburg, Florida as the oldest of three children. She is a fourth generation Florida native and spent most of her childhood boating, fishing and swimming. Mallory participated in many activities throughout high school including Spanish Club, National Honors Society, Student Body Representative, Art & Ceramics Club, Triad, track team & volleyball. She also enjoyed sketching and painting during her free time.

After graduating with honors from Leesburg High School in 2005 she attended Lake-Sumter Community College as a student-athlete on volleyball and academic scholarships. Mallory admits that being a part of a college volleyball team was one of the best experiences of her life, teaching her hard work, life balance, discipline and created life-long relationships. She graduated in 2007 with an Associate of Arts degree.
As a life-long “Florida Gator” she then transferred to University of Florida to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Design, majoring in Interior Design. The Interior Design program within the College of Design, Construction & Planning, is within the top 10 accredited programs within the United States. Mallory completed design projects throughout many disciplines, including: residential, corporate, hospitality, healthcare, education, retail and historic preservation with a strong focus on sustainability and evidence-based design. She received her Bachelor’s degree in May 2011. She is currently an Allied Member of ASID and IIDA and an accredited LEED Green Associate.
Mallory moved to Fort Myers in 2011 and joined the Evalutions team as an Interior Design Assistant in February 2012. She participates in a broad range of projects from space planning to choosing interior furnishings for new construction clients. Mallory finds great pleasure in the creative process of design and thoroughly enjoys meeting new people.
Mallory feels the most important aspect of interior design is understanding the client’s needs and creating a functional space that is also aesthetically pleasing. Interior environments determine the way people feel, live, work and play. Through design research of scale, hierarchy, space, material and texture she can create a space that caters to the client. Mallory prides herself on her organizational skills and ability to work with a team. Count on Mallory’s expertise whether you are considering remodeling, refreshing a room in your home, or just need ideas on window treatments or flooring.
